(x) OH MY GOD this was in 2003 she was in the hospital for anorexia JK Rowling then wrote to her personally and then she got the role of Luna. I mean if someone were to write this in a fictional story everybody would be like “that is so not believable.”  I think it’s beautiful that she was promised the role of Luna Lovegood if she got better, to which she then went on to recover and permanently beat anorexia. OH MY GOD Evanna Lynch is honestly one of my heroes. HOLY BALLS IF I WERE PROMISED SOMETHING LIKE THIS I WOULD BEAT ANYTHING. I WOULD CATCH THEM ALL, I WOULD END WORLD HUNGER, WHAT. You are aware the person who said she was “promised the role” was entirely misinformed? Evanna was in contact with J.K. Rowling, yes, but she was never promised anything. She beat anorexia because of her own strength, and THEN went out for the role of Luna. JKR was completely shocked when she learned that Evanna had been cast. That extra tidbit made it even better.
